HEALING WITHOUT LIMITS, CARE WITHOUT JUDGEMENT
How can therapy help?
Does life feel like it’s been turned up to “hard mode” lately? Maybe anxiety keeps stealing the spotlight, self-doubt won’t stop chiming in, or old memories pop up like uninvited guests. Big changes can feel overwhelming, like you're on a road trip without a map. And let’s be honest—replaying the past and fast-forwarding to every possible future outcome is exhausting.

What if things could feel lighter?

Therapy is your space to unpack the heavy stuff, quiet the mental noise, and learn tools that actually work in real life. It’s where you can sort through the swirl, build confidence, and feel more steady and in control—without having to figure it all out on your own.

You don’t have to carry everything by yourself anymore. We’ll take it one manageable, meaningful step at a time.

In our initial consultation we will chat about your goals for therapy. I will also share about my background and expertise to ensure we are a good fit.
People come in all shapes and sizes so why should therapy be one size fits all? I will work with you to develop a treatment style that works for you.
Homework is an essential part of therapy, and looks different for everyone. Homework can be practicing mindfulness, getting exercise, or joining a group. It just depends on your goals.

A little about me...
Hey, I'm Alyssa Becker (she/her)
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California. I've been working in Mental Health for over 10 years, with 8 years experience as a School Counselor, and two years as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I have helped individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, gender identity, and major life transitions.

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they feel heard without judgement—a place to sort through their thoughts, gain clarity, and walk away with tools they can actually use in real life.

In our sessions, I bring a mix of warmth and honesty, paired with evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and DBT, all through a trauma-informed lens. My style is conversational and practical, and yes—I like to keep things real. When it fits, I’ll sprinkle in humor, a dash of sarcasm, and the occasional pop culture or Disney reference (because sometimes a little laughter and a well-timed quote can make the hard stuff easier).
Together, we’ll explore what truly helps you thrive—and maybe even have a few laughs along the way.
